Corten steel planter Myy XXL
Made from Corten steel which is almost pure carbon steel but processed in order to have a protective layer on the surface to make it weather-proof. The surface is originally greyish, due the weather conditions it turns reddish-brown (resembles the colour of rusting), which becomes darker within time.
If used properly, Corten steel is expressive, durable and maintenance-free and can stand the test of time in its own peculiar way.

- The set includes M8 (DIN912) bolts that are installed under the bottom. The flower pot rests on the ground on bolt heads, creating an 8 mm air gap between the bottom and the hard soil
- The legs are available as an extra accessory. They enable to lift and move the planter with a forklift (SKU: PLS-1)
- The planter is delivered as parts, approximate assembly time 15 min
The flower pot is made by hand, so slight unevenness may occur at the welding points of the product without a layer of rust. However, as the Cor-Ten rust layer forms, the unevenness dissipates.
Cor-Ten steel products are delivered untreated. When brand new, Cor-Ten steel is gray in color like usual hot-rolled steel. Cor-Ten steel products can be stored outdoors all year round. Does not require storage.
